As a medieval war game, Rise of Empires: Ice and Fire pits your nation against other players’ nations in a bid to win more resources and experience points. Your ultimate goal is to rebuild your fallen empire and in doing so, you will have to contend in the war. You must train your army and level them up to survive against the onslaught of your enemies.
There are also unique dragons and recruitable hero characters to give you an edge in battle. However, you can’t just neglect your troops once you get these special units as their formation can still influence the outcome of a fight. To support your campaign, you will need resources and you can earn these by having your empire start businesses like farms the more you conquer the map.
This game boasts of impressive realistic-looking graphics and real-time worldwide combat between players, as it’s free to download like most mobile MMOs. However, the problem with this game is that it easily gets harder as you keep playing. Firstly, there are lots of items that require you to purchase them whenever you’re in a pinch. Afterward, the game mechanics really push for you to get more of these items.
